And then when I change my 'metadata' path manually within ES itself (long and boring) - the videos DO work - but then I don't understand where RP/ES are storing these paths, so I can't copy my settings. home/pi/RetroPie/roms/scummvm/snap/cruise.mp4īut no dice, the video doesnt display still. I tried adding a line into the XML after the image line thus and re-uploading: Once you find them online you will copy them to the following folder: /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS. Option 2: Transfer files over your network. Plug it into your Raspberry Pi, and you’re good to go. In order to play GameBoy Advance, PlayStation 1, as well as a few other systems you need to load BIOS files onto the RaspberryPi. Just put them all in a folder called retropie and put that folder on a USB storage device. By having all the files with (I think) the correct naming convention in the 'snaps' folder in scummvm, about say 20% of them only displayed. Once you load the roms into their respective directory the system and roms will show up in EmulationStation. refresh emulationstation by pressing F4, or choosing quit from the start menu. Plugin RetroPie and wait for it to completely boot up into the menu system.

It will copy any folders that you make in the retropie directory on the usb stick regardless of whether you have the system installed. Put your PSP games compatible with this kernel into the / retroarch / roms / ppsspp / folder, select in the Main Menu: Load Content, /, then retroarch, roms, ppsspp, your game, PPSSPP emulator core, play. About 60% did, the rest didn't.Ģ) There is no path in the XML for video. Add the roms to their respective folders (in the retropie/roms folder). If you created a psp folder in roms on your usb stick and popped it in, that folder and files should already be on your Pi, but they won't show up in emulationstation until the emulator has been installed. This is surely where the metadata is stored, but -ġ) The paths to some of my boxart, despite being perfect in the XML (I changed the names of my files to match), did not result in the images being displayed. This is what I can't understand about the gamelist.xml.
#Psp folder retropie manual
I used the scrapers for some stuff but I found it to be patchy at best for ScummVM so went the manual route for most of it.
